Outdoor Ed!

In the picture I am doing archery.  When you put the arrow in the arrow holder, you have the opposite color on the end of the arrow sticking out towards you.  You use your pointer, middle, and ring finger to launch the arrow.  Each ring on the target has a point value.  There are ten rings so you should know which ring is worth what.  At the end we had a competition of boys against girls.  The boys won.

Have you ever been to the 4-H Center?  I have.  Something that I enjoyed there was Orienteering.  At Orienteering, our leader Mike, taught us how to use a compass.  After that he put us in three groups of three, gave s a clipboard, and told us where to start.  We looked for signs on trees and wrote down what it said.  It was really fun because we were off the main trails and only had the compass to guide us.  That was one of the fun things we did at the 4-H Center.
